Data Manager
Join our mission of building next generation quantum processors – we are looking for an expert in data management

Do you want to be a part of pioneering quantum computing in a world-class quantum ecosystem in the heart of Copenhagen?  Quantum Foundry is a newly founded project, under the Novo Nordisk Foundation, aimed at developing next generation Quantum Computing Processor technologies.

In close collaboration with the NNF Quantum Computing Programme (NQCP) at the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen, and other international quantum computing initiatives, the objective is to pioneer chip-based fabrication and packaging methods for manufacturing state-of-the-art quantum processors.

The ambitious Foundry project is assembling a talented and diverse international team co-located at the Niels Bohr Institute in the heart of Copenhagen, Denmark. The Quantum Foundry project will be part of a vibrant quantum ecosystem and an international quantum computing programme that will facilitate and drive research and innovations at multiple levels – from developing scalable quantum processor technologies to solutions for the quantum-classical control and readout interface, and all the way quantum algorithms and applications. Our long-term mission is to enable the development of fault-tolerant quantum computing hardware and quantum algorithms that find solutions to otherwise unsolvable life-science-relevant chemical and biological problems.

We are looking for a data manager to support the QF engineers and researchers with data management tools and digital security solutions to ensure sensitive data are protected. The QF project will be generating large amounts of data in the field of manufacturing tools development and manufacturing processes and the data manager is expected to drive database establishment as well as its maintenance, and communicative awareness for use of the database to both researchers and the supporting administrative units. The data manager will work closely with the research teams from QF as well as from NQCP to develop a database for common R&D projects. The position requires a high degree of cross-functional collaboration and teamwork.
